In the Design Week Turkey, the most important event of the Turkish design world organized for the 4^th time by Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade, Turkish Exporters’ Assembly, Industrial Designers’ Society of Turkey, design awards were given to their owners within the Design Turkey Industrial Design Competition which was held for the 8th time. İkizler Lighting is awarded with Outstanding Design Award with “REST” and with Good Design Award with “FOCUS”.

 REST and FOCUS designed by Ece Yalım – Oğuz Yalım, brought attention to the integration of lighting with acoustic architecture.

 A total of 62 awards were distributed at the design ceremony with the attendance of Ruhsar Pekcan, Minister of Trade and İsmail Gülle, Turkish Exporters’ Assembly Chairman, in 13 categories, 8 of which were outstanding, 36 were good and 18 were conceptual awards.
